With great enthusiasm, we started the new season of Tourism Panel Discussions 2025. It is a venue designed to strengthen the tourism ecosystem and local entrepreneurship in Magdalena de Cao. On February 18, at the Casa de la Cultura ―a facility provided by the local municipality for these events― we conducted the first session entitled "United to grow", where the importance of strategic alliances in the sector was underscored. This meeting was attended by prominent speakers:
During the panel discussions, local artisans and entrepreneurs had the opportunity to learn about the value of collaboration for the strengthening of tourism and handicrafts in the region.
The opening session began with the presentation by Alex Tocto, who recounted the achievements obtained during 2024, sharing with the entrepreneurs the sales figures achieved, the strategic alliances consolidated with other entities and the collaborative work carried out with the local community. Furthermore, he presented the planning for 2025, allowing participants to learn about the next steps and growth opportunities that will be worked on together throughout the year.
Later on, Jorge Vega took the floor to delve into the topic of strategic alliances, sharing his experience in the management of the Intercity Bus Terminal of Trujillo. Through his speech, he underscored the importance of collaboration among different actors in the sector to boost tourism and strengthen the local economy.
The 2025 Tourism Panel Discussions are part of the Strengthening Plan, a key initiative that seeks to promote tourism, handicrafts and the formalization of entrepreneurs in Magdalena de Cao. Through these sessions, we promote the exchange of knowledge and strategies for the sustainable development of the sector.
At the Wiese Foundation and the El Brujo archaeological complex, we reaffirm our commitment to the community, banking on the strengthening of tourism and local entrepreneurship. We believe in the importance of generating learning and collaboration venues that contribute to boosting the tourism ecosystem of Magdalena de Cao.
We continue to move forward together to strengthen tourism and handicrafts in 2025!
